The way the National Football League set up the schedule and the television networks laid claim to Green Bay Packers games, it's conceivable both are either very high on Aaron Rodgers or expecting a comeback by Brett Favre. Don't count on the latter, but with a Monday night opener at home against Minnesota and a Sunday night grudge match at home against Dallas two weeks later, the NFL and its broadcast associates are well-positioned to document the start of a new era in Green Bay, and a celebration of an old one. All told, the Packers will play four prime-time and two national doubleheader games, and should they be in playoff contention down the stretch could find themselves playing in two more night games late in the season. They don't quite have the buzz factor of the nine teams that boasted five prime-time games, but interest will be high early on. [More]
